Parliament: Now, find men in 'ape' suits to ward monkeys off

New Delhi, Aug 1:The New Delhi Municipal Corporation is said to have hired 40 men in Ape suits to ward off 'langurs' in the premises. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said on Thursday,"The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has hired 40 young people for this purpose."

Rubber bullets are also being used to tackle the increasing problem of monkeys in the vicinity. Moreover, dog catchers have been hired to come twice a week to control the problem of stray dogs in the Parliament precincts.
