Parliament
New Delhi, Feb 5: The last session of the 15th Lok Sabha is to start on Wednesday and it is expected to be focusing on the Telangana bifurcation issue.

Most expectantly, the session would be stormy one, says Meira Kumar, given the topic of the discussion.

"I have appealed to all the leaders who were present and all of them without exception have told me that they will cooperative fully. It is going to be the last session of 15th Lok Sabha. We should have a grand finale," she said.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, on the other hand, emphasized on the necessity to have a peaceful division of Andhra Pradesh, in a meeting with the leaders of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS).

He told the TRS delegation, led by party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao,"Nothing should be said or done that can inflame passions. I appeal to all that the bifurcation process should be peaceful."

In fact, Rao was pretty positive about the bifurcation after speaking to the PM. He said,"He (PM) said the government is seriously committed and we are under any circumstances creating the Telangana state."

Cong MP Ninong Ering issues notice for supension of 'Question hour' in Lok Sabha

While Telangana is likely to be one important topic of discussion in the Lok Sabha, there is another emerging topic that has taken the nation by the rage-the death of Nido Taniam.

While the Congress MP assured the North Eastern students to take up the issue of racial discrimination within India in the parliament, he also issued a notice to the Lok Sabha for the suspension of the 'Question Hour'.
