Padmashree awardee yoga guru passes away
Pune, Aug 20: Internationally renowned Yoga Guru BKS Iyengar breathed his last today at a Pune hospital at the age of 95. Founder of the Iyengar Yoga, he was awarded the Padma Shri in 1991, the Padma Bhushan in 2002 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2014.

He has also written several books on yoga practice. He is said to have been admitted to the hospital last Tuesday after he faced difficulty in breathing. On Sunday, however, his condition deteriorated after he was put on dialysis post a renal failure.
