According to India Today report, workers from different parties joined AIADMK during a function at the party' headquarters on Thursday, February 27.
The report said that Uttar Pradesh's JD (U) general secretary Rakesh Kumar, NCP leader Yogendra Kumar Pandey, Samajwadi Party's Muzaffarnagar district secretary Bhopal Shaini and UPCC member Sanjay Shaini. Were among those who joined AIADMK.
Jayalalithaa also welcomed them and said that a 'bright future' awaits them, while wishing them "good luck".
AIADMK membership cards were given to the new joinees. Interestingly, over a dozen women activists were among the new entrants.

As other party members are joining AIADMK, Jayalaithaa, may fulfil her national ambition, sooner or later.
On February 24, Jayalalithaa had released a list of 40 candidates for all seats, on the occasion of her 66th birthday. Nest day, she had released the party's manifesto for the upcoming elections, while promising development of her state and the country.
In her party's manifesto, she had underscored her prime ministerial aspirations with a populist Lok Sabha poll manifesto promising freebies like laptops, mixer grinders and fans as well as goats, sheep and cows to the poor.
Her party also promised free bicycles, text books, and fixed deposits to students, and solar powered homes and four gram gold as a marriage gift for poor girls.
The manifesto also promised to overturn some of the economic policies followed by the central government much to the liking of the two Left parties with which the AIADMK has aligned for the polls.
