While addressing the public at the inauguration of a flyover in Jaipur the BJP leader said, "In the elections you did wonders, I want to thank you for it. You did not leave any stone unturned. Rajasthan got 25/25 in LS polls and 163/200 MLAs in assembly all thanks to you. If anyone thinks this has been possible because of me they need to think again."
It is being said that Raje is a loggerheads with the Centre over expansion of her state cabinet for past few months. It has been nine months since her government came to power but there are just eleven ministers in her cabinet.
Initially, the Rajasthan CM had delayed the induction promising a berth in the Lok Sabha polls on the basis performance. But now clamour for cabinet berth is rising amongst BJP MLAs in the state. The RSS has already finalised the names of cabinet allottees from its side but Raje has her own list of candidates.
To resolve this deadlock Raje had even visited Delhi last week to meet BJP chief Amit Shah. But, Shah who is busy with his whirlwind tour of Haryana and Maharashtra couldn't meet her. Reports are also claiming that the BJP chief deliberately skipped meeting with Raje because PM Modi was out of the country and Shah did not wanted to take a decision on his own.
Hence, miffed with the top brass's lack of interest Raje has made a veiled attack at BJP's poster boy Narendra Modi.
