Odisha: 25-year old gangraped, abandoned at railway station

Cuttack, Jan 13: Women are not safe anywhere, not even at a crowded railway station. A 25-year old woman from Chhattisgarh was gangraped by four men and abandoned at the Cuttack railway station on Saturday night. A media person and a few people found her wandering at Buxibazar and asked her what happened. Unable to express her ordeal, she was taken to the Mahila police station.

Initially, the woman was not in a condition to express her ordeal, but later she narrated the entire story. Police said,"she had left her home in Raipur in Chhattisgarh after a fight with family members and took a train to Puri in Odisha. On her way back, she got down at the Cuttack station.
