Chandigarh, April 2: Haryana Government on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders of nine IAS officers including whistle blower Ashok Khemka and one Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officer with immediate effect.

Khemka, who had in November last year been posted as Transport Commissioner and Secretary has now been transferred and given the dual charge of Secretary and Director General, Archaeology and Museums department relieving R.S. Kharb of the charge, an official release said here.

This is Khemka's 45th transfer in 24 years.

Following the development, Khemka took to microblogging website Twitter to express how painful the moment was for.

"Tried hard to address corruption and bring reforms in Transport despite severe limitations and entrenched interests. Moment is truly painful," he tweeted.

Khemka had faced wrath for speaking against Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra in illegal land deals in Haryana.

The previous Congress Government shifted out him as director general of State Consolidation and Land Reclamation Department after he highlighted the shortfalls of the mutation in the land deal between Robert Vadra and DLF reality.

In 2013, Khemka had alleged that Vadra "falsified documents" for 3.53 acres of land in Gurgaon, Haryana and took a large premium on a commercial colony licence. Khemka, 49, had been working as Director General, Archive, in Haryana since then.

In January, the Haryana Government recommended a CBI probe into a contract awarded by Khemka to a Gujarat firm in 2009. The 1991-batch IAS officer has alleged that he was punished by the Congress Government in Haryana and at the Centre for scrapping the Vadra deal.
