Nobel Prize replica stolen from Kailash Satyarthi's home

Burglars broke into Satyarthi's apartment situated in south Delhi's Alaknanda area and stole several valuable items including the replica of his Nobel prize.

New Delhi, Feb 7: A group of intruders have broken into the house of Nobel Laureate & social activist Kailash Satyarthi in the early hours of Tuesday. Many things including Nobel Prize replica has been stolen from his home. However, the original has been kept at Rashtrapati Bhawan as per protocol.

According to sources, burglars broke into Satyarthi's apartment situated in south Delhi's Alaknanda area and stole several valuable items including the replica of his Nobel prize. It is learnt that Satyarthi had been to World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates 2017 which was organised in Bogota city in Latin America.

Satyarthi is a renowned Indian child rights activist and the winner of Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. He is the founder of the Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA), an organization dedicated towards the eradication of child labor and rehabilitation of the rescued former child workers.
