Regarding the ongoing agitation of Tamil Nadu farmers seeking loan waiver in Delhi, Naidu said,'' Tamil Nadu farmers have met Finance Minister and Home Minister but issues concerning state have to be taken up at state level, need to be dealt by state government itself.''
Earlier on Saturday, DMK Working President MK Stalin said Centre is betraying the non-Hindi speaking residents of the country. In a two-minute video, the leader asked the government to give up its efforts to sideline non-Hindi speaking people.
The BJP-led central government is attempting "Hindi hegemony" in Tamil Nadu. He also criticised the BJP government for obtaining permission from the President to use Hindi in airport announcements, press news, advertisements and also making it a compulsory subject in CBSE schools across the country.
