No clarity on crucial admin issues in Telangana: Congress

Hyderabad, July 9:

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has done precious little in his one month in office and failed to give clarity on crucial issues like agriculture loan waiver and tuition fees reimbursement, State Congress President Ponnala Lakshmaiah alleged here today.

"K Chandrasekhar Rao was leader of statehood agitation for 13 years. Though he assumed power, he has not been able to come out of that. Instead of focusing on administrative issues, he is doing politics on the sentiments of Telangana people. He is holding brain-storming sessions as if he needs to know problems in Telangana now," the PCC President said.

The Chief Minister is creating a sense of worry among people by talking about elimination of PDS ration cards, taking possession of lands and proposing change of alignment in Hyderabad metro rail, he claimed.

"RBI gave some clarity to (new) Andhra Pradesh on farm loan waiver. We don't have any clarity yet. Medical Council of India finalised 400 medical seats to AP. There is no clarity for Telangana.

The details are not known on tuition fees reimbursement. Students and parents are worried," he said.
