New Delhi, Dec 18: The 50th All India Director Generals and Inspector General's Annual Conference will focus on a host of issues which are threatening national security, but here is an interesting fact.
The top cops from all states of India will have to spend three days without booze starting today and there will be a compulsory yoga session as well.
The meet is an extremely important one and is being held at Kutch. The meeting will be attended by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
On the agenda is the ISIS threat, challenges faced by the police while dealing with terror on the social media and also crimes against women.
The conference will last three days starting today. There are strict norms in place this time around.
Dress code is important and officers will have to wear blue blazers compulsorily. For the women officers a saree is compulsory during this meet.
During the duration of the conference, there shall be no booze served and meat too will be off the table.
In addition to this there is a compulsory yoga session which will commence at 5 AM.
The media too will not be allowed into the event. A briefing by the home ministry either everyday or after the completion of the event can be expected.
