Nitish Kumar hits back at Narendra Modi, irks Indians on Twitter

Patna, Oct 29: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lashed out at his counterpart in Gujarat -- Narendra Modi. Speaking at JD(U)'s "Chintan Shivir", Kumar on Tuesday, Oct 29 criticised Modi over the latter's Hunkar Rally which was held in Patna on Sunday.

Ironically, the JD(U) leader faced wrath of the countrymen at the same time while criticising Modi. Followers and supporters of Modi and BJP turned up to micro-blogging site Twitter and hit back at Nitish.

Highlights of Nitish's speech slamming Modi:

Somebody aspiring for the top post should be cool-headed. The PM's post is for 130 crore Indians, somebody aspiring to that should be patient.

What's hunkaar (roar)? It reflects their arrogance, ego (on BJP's Patna gathering, which was called 'Hunkaar rally')

They talk about Lords Ram and Krishna. The BJP should remember that Ram and Krishna united the country and didn't belong to any caste or party.

It's good to dream about being a PM. I have no experience of selling tea, but I too come from a modest background. (referring to Mr Modi's rise from tea stall vendor to Prime Ministerial candidate)

The BJP fought 2010 elections with me because they needed me.Then they dumped me--who is the traitor?

Hitler's associate Goebbels said if you tell a lie many times, it appears to be the truth. This is what they do. (on Mr Modi's allegation that he had betrayed the BJP and Bihar)
