Nithari serial killings: Allahabad HC grants bail to Moninder Singh Pandher
Pandher, a businessman, was granted bail in four cases and eight cases of murder against him are still pending and yet to be heard.
Reports said that Pandher, who has been lodged in Dasna district jail, will remain in jail as of now.
Noida resident Pandher and his domestic help Surender Koli are accused of killing and disposing off the bodies of 19 children and a young woman between 2005 and 2006.
Sixteen cases have been registered against Kohli between 2005 and 2006 in Pandher's house.
On July 25, the Supreme Court had rejected his mercy petition as it had earlier confirmed death sentence for him on charges of murdering 14-year-old girl calling it rarest of rare case.
Recently, President Pranab Mukherjee had refused his mercy petition.
Nithari serial killings came to light in December 2006, following discovery of human remains from a drain behind Pandher's house in Nitahri in Noida, the outskirts of Delhi.
