Not just UP, the party is also eying at states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi and Bihar. The party has even finalised 15 candidates in UP, sources said. The party followers have started active works in the state. It has launched a website www.nav-bharat.org.
"Nav Bharat's near term objective - Mission 2014 is to field credible & winnable candidates in strategically selected constituencies representing 50-100 Lok Sabha seats spread across several states like UP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Orissa, Bihar, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala", says the website.
The success of AAP has inspired the Navbharat workers too. Like AAP, the new party aims to revive the administrative system of the state and strengthen democracy.
