New Delhi, April 14: Congress leader Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday clarified that she never doubted leadership qualities of party Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
"I have not said that Rahul Gandhi is unacceptable" for the party's top post, the three-time former Delhi chief minister said following a section of media reportedly quoted her as saying that there are question marks over Rahul Gandhi's leadership qualities and his mother Sonia Gandhi should continue to lead the party. Dikshit told reporters that she along with others was a party person and goes by what the party says.
"It's a decision of the party that we all follow," she said on being asked whether she had any problem if Rahul Gandhi takes over as Congress president.
"Why should we have any problem with anybody," she said, however adding that Sonia Gandhi should continue leading the party "as she takes everybody along".
