Samajwadis will prepare the people for an agitation against this," he said. Emphasising on special opportunity and promotion to farmers, the SP supremo said that economy depends on the prosperity of farmers.

Yadav said that even today, 65 per cent people were dependent on farming and their land should not be acquired forcibly. The SP supremo said that when emergency was imposed, it was Samajwadis who led the protest. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Health Minister Ahmad Hasan and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.
