Narendra Modi welcome in Pakistan: 26/11 terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed
Saeed, who earlier had openly opposed Modi's victory in the latest Lok Sabha election in India, was reported to have claimed that Modi would be welcome in Pakistan.
Vaidik's meeting with Hafiz created controversies as it came just after US's announcement in which the country banned the Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), the front organisation of Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, its chief Hafiz Saeed.
Hafiz Saeed said he was born in Pakistan but was conceived in India
Vaidik went to Pakistan recently and met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other leaders of the country. Later he met Saeed in Lahore in a high-security room.
According to Vaidik's report, the JuD chief expressed his wish to visit Delhi and Mumbai. On his connection with India, he said he was born in Pakistan but was conceived in India.
While Vaidik defended himself against all criticisms by Indian politicians, Ramdev too supported him saying, "I am sure VP Vaidik tried to change Hafeez Saeed heart, VP Vaidik is a journalist and he can meet anyone: Baba Ramdev."
