Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday, Oct 7 was quoted as saying, "The President's programmes in Patna on October 26 and at Ara on October 27 have been fixed as a ploy to scuttle Narendra Modi's rally."
Turning up to micro-blogging site Twitter, Sushil Kumar Modi hurled direct attack at Nitish Kumar accusing the latter of overlapping Gujarat CM's rally in Patna. The BJP leader tweeted, "Nkumar is playing all tricks to put hurdles in success of NAMO's Hunkar Rally on 27th Oct. First permission for whole Maidan was denied. Now Nkumar has invited President of India to Patna on the same dates. He also added, "The whole city will be barricaded for President's visit? Namo's plane will not be allowed to land till President's spl plane takes off?"

Meanwhile,BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain was quoted as saying, "If you fear NaMo (Narendra Modi) so much, why use Hon President's shoulder to fire? Have courage to bring your partner Rahul Gandhi to Biha." Hussain's remark was directed at NItish Kumar.
Nitish Kumar broke its partnership with BJP suspecting Narendra Modi's elevation as BJP PM candidate. BJP projected the Gujarat CM as its PM nominee for the upcoming Lok Sabha election which is expected to be held in 2014.
Although Bihar state government officials overruled all allegations against the CM saying that Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Bihar was arranged by the President's office.
According to reports, the president will go to Bhojpur to attend a function with Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar when BJP PM candidate is expected to hold a mega rally in Patna on Oct 27.
