Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi
Ludhiana, Feb 24: Just a day after Narendra Modi's visit to Punjab, his arch-rival Rahul Gandhi too is scheduled to visit the state on Monday, Feb 24. It seems that the BJP's PM nominee might have influenced Rahul or the latter might have decided to follow the footsteps of the former.

The Congress Vice President was scheduled to meet farmers from Haryana and ex-servicemen from Punjab. The leader would visit Haryana's Ganaur town in Sonipat district, about 65 km from New Delhi.

The young Gandhi family scion will also visit Chandigarh later in the evening

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda earlier had informed, "Rahul Gandhi will visit Gannaur to hold dialogue with farmers' organisations so as to incorporate issues related to their interest in the national manifesto of Congress party for the general elections."

At least 400 farmers from different regions of the state are expected to attend the gathering. The young Gandhi family scion will also visit Chandigarh later in the evening. He will meet former service men.

Earlier on Sunday, Modi visited the state where he addressed several issues related to farmers and their problems. The Gujarat CM also dolled out several formulas to get solutions for the problems faced by farmers of the state and the country as well.
