After last week's reports of Nawaz Sharif's mother being touched by the relationship that Modi and his mother shared, the son of the soil did not disappoint the Pak premier's mother too.
Sharif's daughter Maryam Sharif thanked the Indian PM for gifting a beautiful shawl to her grandmother.
In her Twitter handle @MaryamNSharif, she said that her father was so impressed by the gesture that he delivered the shawl personally to his mother.

During his conversation with Sharif, Narendra Modi came to know that Sharif visited his mother once in a week though he stayed in Islamabad.
Reports were rife that Sharif and his mother were touched by the pictures of Narendra Modi and his mother after he went back to seek her blessings after the poll results.
Meanwhile, Modi's invitation to Nawaz Sharif in the swearing-in has been considered as a bold and strategic move to mend ties.
