Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley and Modi's close aide Amit Shah on Wednesday addressed a press conference where they confirmed that the party would carry protests in Varanasi and Delhi.
Modi was to address election rallies in Varanasi, performing a Ganga 'arti' and attend a get-together to interact with 150 prominent citizens. In a late night development, the district administration allowed the Ganga 'arti' and the interaction event at a hotel.
Though BJP has been given permission to hold two more rallies in the city, the furious party raised demand of removing the top election official of Varanasi for "partiality".

Amit
Shah

Commission
