My comment was distorted, says Prashant Bhushan
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that 'the party (AAP) doesn't agree with Bhushan.'Kejriwal told reporters: "We do not agree with what Prashant Bhushan said about Kashmir, it is his personal view."
Meanwhile BJP attacked the AAP saying that the party must clarify its stand. "AAP must clarify its stand on national issues. AAP is speaking in different voices," said BJP spokesperson Nirmala Seetharaman.
Prashant Bhushan's comments will help separatists, said Delhi BJP cheif Harshvardhan, who severely slammed the AAP leaders comment.
Bhushan on Sunday had said that people of Kashmir should be asked whether they want the Army or not. "People should be asked whether they want the Army to handle internal security in Kashmir. If they feel that the Army is violating human rights and they say they don't want the army to be deployed then the army should be withdrawn," he said.
