Mumbai, May 15: What will you do if you win Rs 2 crore? Many may go mad. But this 17-year-old student, who has just won Rs 2 crore scholarship, impressed the world with her determined and steady steps towards her bright future.

Bhavi Jagatia, a students of Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu, was preparing for her board exams. She was exhausted and stressed out. But she was on cloud 9 the next moment when she received the news of winning Rs 2 crore scholarship.

Bhavi has been quoted as saying, "I got to know about the Tata scholarship a day before my mathematics board exam and I was so excited."

The scholarship will help Bhavi to pursue her dream of becoming an astronaut. She will join aerospace engineering degree tuition at Cornell University. The scholarship will also fund her stay there in New York, USA.

Bhavi's proud father, Ashok Jagatia, was quoted as saying, "Don't force your dreams on your children." However, her mother was only concerned about her child's health. Bhavi's mother said, "I just want to make sure my daughter is having proper food and sleep. The rest of the things, she can take care of by herself."

Before she leaves for US, Bhavi wants to explore the city where her dreams have come true. She wants to roam with her friends. She also wishes to get a call from her dream boy, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor.

Bhavi's dream to become an astronaut like her role models, Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams, is just a few steps away. But the 17-year-old has already impressed the world with her mature statements -- Get a dream and you do not have to sacrifice fun to chase your dream.
