Mumbai Shame: 3 teachers repeatedly rape 9-year-old student in school

Mumbai, Nov 24: Several reports regarding safety of children in schools across the country surfaced in recent time. Now-a-days parents do not feel it safe to send their kids to schools.

Parents of young kids should be more careful while sending them to schools as they are not safe there. A news about a 9-year-old and her suffering in her school shocked everyone.

Rape

The incident took place in Bhayander near Mumbai. It has been alleged that the girl was raped repeatedly by three of her teachers since past one year.

All three accused, who were arrested, have been identified as, 47-year-old Sanjay Patil, 47-year-old Nilesh Bhoir and 23-year-old Jitendra Jadhav.

The trio have been taken into police custody following the complaint filed by the parents of the victim.

According to the girl, the teachers took turns to sexually abuse her several times in empty classrooms.

Also, the minor was threatened as well as beaten to keep her mouth shut about the incident.

The criminal assault continued till Oct 2015 after which the girl opened up to her parents.

The trio have been charged under sections 376, 323, 504, and 506 rw 34 of the IPC and also sections 3 and 4 of the POCSO Act 2012, police added.
