"The poll rallies using 3D technology have been postponed due to technical reason," a Gujarat BJP office bearer said. "The rallies have been postponed till April 11," he said. Modi was to address today at more than 100 locations simultaneously using the 3D holographic projection technology, where those present at different locations could virtually see his holographic image and experience his live address.
Sources in BJP said the rallies have been postponed due to technical problems
Modi had used this technology for the first time in the campaigning for 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections. The Gujarat Congress had criticised Modi over the expensive rallies.
BJP releases manifesto
After much delay, the BJp finally released its manifesto for the Lok Sabha election on Monday. Senior BJP leader MM Joshi later told an English news channel that the reports about his rift with Modi over the manifesto were without base.
