Modi's visit to USA, an itinerary
New Delhi, Sept 23: Narendra Modi's visit to the US may have a great political significance, but what concerns the world is how the two leaders embrace each other, especially when US had serious disagreements over Modi.

In order to deepen the India-US strategic relationship, both Narendra Modi and Barack Obama will discuss a range of issues of mutual interest, the outcome of which is unknown.

However, we do have an idea of Modi's itinerary in US (as per, which is as follows:

September 26: Modi arrives at JFK Airport in New York

September 27: Addresses UN General Assembly

September 28: Addresses Indian-American Community at Madison Square Garden

September 28: Attends a private reception hosted by Indian Ambassador to the UN

September 29: Flies to Washington D.C. meets members of US Congress

September 29-30: Meets UP President Barack Obama at The White House

Modi will have a tight schedule after arriving in USA. Apart from addressing the UN General Assembly, Modi will also attend a Global Citizen Festival, where he will be accompanied by UN General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim.

On October 28th, Modi will be addressing Indian-American Community at Madison Square Garden. THis would be followed by a reception hosted by the Indian Ambassador to the UN. AS per the organizers of the event, Indian-Americans from across the US will be attending the reception.

30,000 people have already registered for the event. Sources said,"This will be the largest gathering in history to hear an Indian Prime Minister speak in America, the sheer diversity of people coming to Madison Square Garden indicates that the Indian American community sees significant promise in his leadership, and an opportunity for a stronger relationship between the world's oldest and largest democracies."

The Indian Premier will finally meet the President of USA at the White House between September 29 and 30.
