"I don't know of Supreme Court giving clean chit to Modi. A lower court has denied to issue summon to him. It's like a nursery student has scored good marks and thinking himself of a PhD," said Khurshid.
Earlier, he had called Narendra Modi an "imponent" for not being able to stop the riots. Despite Rahul Gandhi reprimanding the senior leader saying that he did not appreciate this language, Khurshid continues to poke NaMo over the same issue.
Commenting on the GUjarat riots in 2002, Rahul Gandhi had said,"The specific allegation and evidence pointing to Mr Modi's responsibility in the 2002 riots are yet to be adequately probed. Any talk of his having been given a clean chit may be politically expedient, but is far too premature. There are many unanswered questions. There is a lot more the country needs to know."
