Heavy rains lash Chennai again

11.25 pm: Heavy Rainfall Warning for next four days for South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema.

11.00 pm: Navy rescue team deployed in Gandhi nagar area beyond Adyar Bridge along Buckingham Canal. The area is flooded.

Earlier, section 66(1)(c) of the Factories Act provided that women cannot work at a factory between 7 pm and 6 am. The amendment provides that the managements will have to ensure security of women working in the night shift.
