Modi in Madison made Kavita
New York, Sept 29: The cheers for Narendra Modi were loud and clear at the Madison Square Garden, but the musical renditions of Bollywood singer and classical exponent Kavita Krishnamurthy and violin maestro husband L Subramaniam and son were louder.

The people may have cheered for their country throughout the speech, but the cheers got even louder with the "I love my India" and the "Vaishnav Jan To" songs. "It was a proud and emotional moment for me", said Krishnamurthy.

"Modi is an iconic leader in whom I believe a lot. Today I am very proud to be an Indian. It was a very emotional moment for me."

Her husband said,"it felt really nice that 20,000 Indians were standing together during the National Anthem and singing the song. It was a moment of nationalism."
