Modi directs BJP MPs, MLAs to submit bank transaction details to Amit Shah
The ministers have been given a deadline till January 1 to submit their account deatails.
New Delhi, Nov 29: Giving out the message that rules are equal for all irrespective of their status, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked all BJP MPs and MLAs to submit details of their bank transactions between November 8 and December 31 to party president Amit Shah.
The ministers have been given a deadline till January 1 to submit their account deatails.
The decision comes in the wake of the opposition questioning the government stating that some ministers had prior knowledge of the decision on demonetisation.

Several parties have reacted sharply to this new development. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Admi Party leader, Arvind Kejriwal asked why this step was taken only after November 8,the day the decision on demonetisation was made.
"Why after Nov 8? Please take details of 6 months before Nov 8. Also Modi ji shud obtain bank account of his friends- Ambanis, Adanis, PayTM, Big Bazar", Kejriwal wrote on his Twitter timeline.
