New Delhi, March 19: Reflexes of a reporter worked in the case of three abandoned children at the New Delhi railway station who were united with their mother. Abhishek, a passerby and a journalist, spotted three kids crying at the railway station when he went to see off his relative.

He immediately clicked their picture and tweeted,"Can someone help these helpless kids at the New Delhi railway station near platform 16 entrance." He tagged the Delhi Police and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to gather as many followers. He also called up the child helpline.

Meanwhile, DCP (north), Madhur Verma, contacted the scribe after reading his Tweet. After getting appropriate details, he immediately dispatched teams to the spot. Sanjay Bhatia, DCP (Railways) also sent his teams and flashed messages on wireless to make sure that the children are rescued.

The trio-Raumana (7), Raja (5), and Sanya (4) were rescued, but were too hungry and scared to give any details.

However, they were coaxed and comforted to give details of their locality. After about an hour, it was found that they belonged to the Nabi Karim area and that their father had left them at the station asking them to wait for their mother. Their house was then located with the help of the local police.
