Mumbai, Dec 3: A Three-year-old boy in Mumbai has miraculously survived after he fell from the seventh floor of a building.
Minor identified as Ashish Mishra was taken to MGM Hospital in Vashi after falling from his seventh floor flat balcony at Kalamboli area on Wednesday.
Doctors attending him surprised to see that he suffered no major injuries. Ashish survived with a few scratches and a head injury.
"We are all thanking God that our kid survived with a few injuries on his head and arms. Ashish was playing in the balcony, which has grilles, around 5.30pm," said boy's father, Vinod, a businessman, reported the Times of India.
He slipped through the gap in the grilles while playing in the balcony of his flat at Krishna Park in Sector 15.
"I was on a business tour while my wife was at home at the time of the incident. She was told by someone on the ground floor that our boy had fallen down," said Mishra.
Ashish may have been lucky due to his light weight frame, which was cushioned by localised winds, which reduced his acceleration towards the ground from that great height, felt doctors at the hospital.
