Mild earthquake hits Indonesia, Meghalaya
The temblor occurred at 10.05 p.m. (22:05 GMT) Monday, Xinhua reported citing USGS.
The epicenter, with a depth of 153.69 km, was initially determined to be at 6.7053 degrees south latitude and 129.7153 degrees east longitude.
Earthquake hits Meghalaya
A slight earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale jolted East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya early today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, the epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 0055 hrs (IST), was located at 25.6 degrees North Latitude and 91.9 degrees East Longitude. Its focal depth was 10 kilometer.
However, no serious damage was reported.
