Delhi: Metro Train catches fire at Patel Nagar station; services on Blue Line affected
The incident took place at Patel Nagar metro station at 4 p.m. when some passengers on the platform noticed smoke billowing out of the Dwarka-Vaishali train.
New Delhi, Dec 8: Metro services on Blue Line, connecting Delhi's Dwarka to Vaishali and Noida areas of Uttar Pradesh, were affected on Thursday after smoke was noticed coming out of a train, said officials.
The incident took place at Patel Nagar metro station at 4 p.m. when some passengers on the platform noticed smoke billowing out of the Dwarka-Vaishali train.
According to fire officials, all the passengers were immediately evacuated and four fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
