Mehbooba Mufti visits those injured in Pakistani shelling

Mehbooba was informed that 30 people, including a 14- month old child, injured in border shelling were undergoing treatment

Jammu, Nov 3: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday visited people injured in cross-border shelling and firing by Pakistan and enquired about their treatment at the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital and Super Speciality Hospital here.

Accompanied by Health Minister Bali Bhagat and senior officials of the health department, she interacted with some patients, the attendants and the doctors and enquired about the treatment being provided to the injured.

Mufti visits injured in hospital

She prayed for their early recovery while instructing the hospital staff to provide all possible medical facilities to the injured patients.

The Chief Minister visited the ICU, Emergency, Cardio- Thoracic, Surgery and other units of the hospital and assessed the medicare facilities being provided to the injured.

She said if any grievously injured patient needs to be shifted outside the state for treatment, the government will bear the expenses.
