Dilpreet Kaur, a Class X student from Kanpur has set 13 records in the Limca Book of Records in just 1 year.
While speaking to the media, Kaur said,''I do all calculations rapidly and want to become an Indian Administrative Service officer.''
Despite being only 14 years old, Kaur has set many records. She has won 11 national and two world records for most calculations in a minute, that too in a year. She also received her certificate from Limca Book of Records.
Kaur's father, Manjeet Singh who is a mathematics teacher always encouraged her by giving her the bigger numbers to solve. "She can solve 1,000 division-related mathematical problems in just 20 minutes, that too with 98-99 per cent accuracy," Singh said.
Kaur is a student of Huddard High School in Kanpur. She started to solve sums when she was eight years old and credits her skill to her parents who are also in the teaching profession.
