New Delhi, July 15: In a shocking revelation, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday, July 15 informed that Maoists have been receiving help from organisations which are based in European countries.

The MHA enlisted the countries names from where a few organisations are accused of helping the Maoists. Germany, France, Holland and Italy are among those countries from where the organisations have been supporting Maoists in India.

Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said that the matter is being taken up with the European countries. The minister also added that the Maoists have links to the left in Philippines and Turkey.

Senior cadres of Communist Party of Philippines trained Indians in 2005, 2011

While speaking at the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Rijiju claimed that the senior cadres of Communist Party of Philippines had trained Indians in 2005 and 2011.

The minister was quoted as saying, "The so-called People's War being waged by the CPI(Maoist) against the Indian state has also drawn support from several Maoist fringe organisations located in Germany, France, Holland, Turkey and Italy. The CPI (Maoist) party have close links with foreign Maoist organisations in Philippines and Turkey,"

The minister also added that ammunition of foreign origin recovered from the left wing extremists in different encounters and operations was an indication of the fact that they are procuring weapons from different sources.
