Man killed by robot at a factory in Manesar
Gurgaon, Aug 13: With the help of advanced technology, humans have created robots, to get help in industrial work that includes heavy machinery.
But sometimes they can prove harmful to mankind. On Wednesday, Aug 12, a man lost his life when he was killed by a robot at a factory in Manesar, Gurgaon.
According to reports, the worker had come too close to the robot when he was adjusting a metal sheet. The man got stuck there and robot pierced his abdomen, killing him instantly. [Robot kills man at Volkswagen plant in Germany]
He was taken to a nearby hospital, but was declared brought dead.
At the time of the incident, 39 robots and at least 63 workers were working.

The deceased was identified as 24-year-old Ramji Lal, who hailed from Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh. He had joined SKH Metals Ltd in Manesar, one-and-half years ago.
He is survived by his wife and four sisters.
