Attacking the BJP,Banerjee said that the saffron party would never come to power
Lashing out at the Congress and BJP for the policy of splitting states, she said that there were no instances of good governance in Chattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand for which this was done. Attacking the BJP, Banerjee said that the saffron party would never come to power. "Do not support the BJP as it believes in dividing the country on religious lines and has a penchant for causing disturbances in the form of violence and riots," she said.

"Now time has come to knock at the door in Delhi and claim our just rights. This is an opportune time and opportunities do not come often," Banerjee maintained.
