Mamata greeted with flower petals at Nabanna
Kolkata, May 27: Mamata Banerjee was on Friday, May 27 given a warm welcome at the state secretariat 'Nabanna" after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the second consecutive term of five years.
Banerjee got down from her car a few metres away from the secretariat and walked in with Finance, Commerce and Industries Minister Amit Mitra.
She was welcomed with a flower bouquet by chief secretary Basudeb Banerjee. A ceremonial guard of honour was given to her at the entrance by the police.
Flowers were showered on Banerjee from the floors above as she entered the secretariat building amidst blowing of conch shells and Shehnai music.
