New Delhi, Dec 9: Howmuchever West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee says that she is paying a visit to Delhi for personal work, we know what's in her mind. This is not a customary visit to the state capital, but a survey of the debacle that just happened yesterday during the election results.

Sources say that the CM has planned to visit the Shahi Imam of Delhi, whose son got married on December 7. Unable to attend the marriage then, she had sent two of her mascots Mukul Roy and Firhad Hakim, the urban development minister. In fact, she is already reported to have written to the Imam regarding her visit.

Mamata says she has to visit Shahi Imam of Delhi and meet other party members.

Sources further said that she is likely to visit the Central Hall of Parliament and may meet the leaders of other parties.

"Chief ministers and leaders of other parties are in touch with Didi. Things may be favourable with the BJP but it is unlikely that the Trinamool Congress will join the NDA once again as Mamata enjoys the support of a majority of Muslims who form 30 per cent of the population. She has already declared that she will contest the Lok Sabha elections alone. What will happen will happen after the general elections," said a Trinamool Congress leader.

Mamata was last seen in Delhi on April 9 this year when she met the Planning Commission officials regarding the allocation of funds for the state. THis is when she and finance minister Amit Mitra was heckled by the Left Front students and they had to be hospitalised.

The readers, however, should be reminded that she has already floated the idea of a Federal Front and is in touch with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, YSR Congress Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The leader added,"Now with the rout of the Congress and CPM not being able to win a single seat in the four states, fresh equations have emerged in national politics. Didi is happy that CPM has been further weakened and if she wins at least 25-30 seats in Lok Sabha, she will be in a good bargaining position for a future political alliance."
