Make India a country that social reformer dreamt of: Modi on Ambedkar Jayanti
New Delhi, April 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tributes to to socio-political reformer BR Ambedkar on his 124th birth anniversary. Writing on social media, Modi appealed people to make efforts to turn Ambedkar's dream of India into reality.

"Let us pledge to dedicate ourselves to creating India that Ambedkar dreamt of...an India that will make him proud. I bow to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary - Jai Bhim" Modi wrote on Twitter.
Heaping praise on Ambedkar, Prime Minister further said, "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is a yug purush (man of the era) who lives in the hearts and minds of crores of Indians. His life is characterised by unmatched determination and a firm commitment towards social justice. He made a mark as a bright lawyer, scholar, writer and intellectual who always spoke his mind".
