The former Tribal Development minister in the BJP-Shiv Sena government said that he is once again expecting to get charge of the ministry in the cabinet. The new government will be sworn in at a ceremony in Mumbai tomorrow.
"I am hopeful of getting a berth in the cabinet and will be happy to represent Palghar as the first minister of the new district," Savara, told PTI today.
Palghar MP Chintaman Wanga also said that he is anticipating that Savara will be given representation in the new government as he knows the issues related to the district and tribal community in the state.
"If it happens (on Savara getting a post in cabinet) then we both can do a lot for development of the entire district (Palghar) and tribals," he said.
