Maha polls: PM Modi to kick start election campaign from today
His campaign blitzkrieg includes two dozen rallies in Maharashtra over the next 10 days.
Modi will on Saturday address rallies in Beed and Aurangabad in the Marathwada region followed by Mumbai.
With no local face in the State, the party is heavily banking on him for campaigning ahead of the Assembly polls. Along with PM Modi, top BJP leaders are expected to be present at the rally.
The BJP which recently broke its 25-year-old alliance with Shiv Sena is fighting the Assembly polls for the first time since it ruled the State in coalition with the Shiv Sena between 1995-1999.
