Modi, who has just ended his high-profile visit to US, is expected to address 24 rallies in the State which will go to polls on October 15.
On the first day of his campaign, Modi will address three rallies in Maharashtra at Kohlapur, Beed and Mumbai.
The party is focussing on the development model and the Prime Minister will woo the electorate with the promise of initiating all-round development evenly across the State and providing good governance.
BJP sources said party veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi will also campaign in Maharashtra.
The campaigning for 15 October polling in the State will end on
13 October and the results will be out on October 19.
This will be the first time that the BJP will be contesting all 288 seats in Maharastra. BJP has recently snapped its ties with its 25-year-old ally, Shiv Sena.
