Nestle India on Monday, Nov 9, re-launched Maggi five months after it was banned in India. The food giant partnered with e-commerce site Snapdeal to make Maggi available online during this festive season.
However minutes after the noodle was made available online, it sold like hot cakes and was soon a complete 'sold out.'
Maggi noodles was available for Rs 144 for 12 packets.
Earlier this year, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) had placed a ban on sale of Maggi after they found high levels of lead in it.
