Lashkar not Jaish carried out Uri attack

Bengaluru, Nov 7: The mystery regarding the group that carried out the Uri attack may have just been solved. While the army had named the Jaish-e-Mohammad hours after the attack, the probe by the National Investigation Agency points towards the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
The first clue pointing towards the Lashkar-e-Tayiba comes from the details obtained from the notes made by Faidullah, one of the terrorists who was part of the Uri attack. The notes found on him shows that he was part of the training camp at Murdike. The Lashkar-e-Tayiba has its main training camp at Murdike.
NIA officials tell OneIndia that this is a vital piece of evidence that was found during the course of the probe. The notes and also the diary clearly point towards the hand of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba in this attack.
We are building our case based on this evidence. The orders to carry out this attack clearly came from the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and all the terrorists part of the attack were trained at Murdike, the officer also noted.
