Lalu's VIP access to Patna airport curtailed
The beleaguered Lalu Yadav is already facing probe in the fodder scam.
The Civil Aviation Ministry on Saturday scrapped Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi's 'privilege' of direct access to Patna airport tarmac.

The move comes after the Ministry of Civil Aviation wrote a letter to the BCAS informing that it had decided to revoke permission granted in 2009 allowing Lalu Yadav and his wife's vehicle to drive up to the tarmac.
"It has now been decided that the permission accorded to Shri Lalu Prasad Yadav and Smt Rabri Devi vide the AVSEC order No 13/2009 dated 1/08/2009 maybe withdrawn forthwith," says the letter dated July 21.
The beleaguered RJD chief is already facing probe in the Rs 900-crore fodder scam. He recently appeared before a Central Bureau of Intelligence (CBI) court in Ranchi on Thursday in a fodder scam case.
The three cases in which Lalu Prasad appeared are related to the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 49 crore from Doran (Ranchi), Rs 33 crore from Chaibasa and Rs 95 lakh from Deoghar treasuries.
The Rs 900-crore scam surfaced in the early 1990s when he was the Bihar chief minister.
