Lalu's unique tips for cheating students to pass exams
Patna, March 23: Funny images of relatives of Class 10 students clamouring to the examination center to help students cheat made it to the world news. While they passed on chits openly, Bihar ministers made their work easier....literally.
Prashant Kumar Shahi, Bihar's education minister said,"Should we shoot them?" while addressing a media conference.
Now, former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav offers his own solutions, which has raked up a controversy in its own way. He said,"When you go elsewhere, no one will believe your degrees. If you can't clear exams, why don't you just fail them and retake them till you pass?"
He further added,"The current government says it can't control cheating... (during my time as Chief Minister) I used to hand out books to everyone and said 'fine, write from the books.' Do you think they managed? They kept on writing and three hours passed by and most of them failed anyway."
Close to 1.4 million students, crammed in 1217 examination centers, are appearing in the board exams held by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Attempts to chase away relatives from the exam centers have proved futile and dangerous as the police was attacked with stones.
