Lalu calls AAP's promises a 'pack of lies', says Rahul is fit to be PM
Patna, Dec 17: RJD party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav told media on Monday that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was fit to become the country's prime minister.

"Rahul is fit for PM's post. What is the problem in him?" he asked reporters. "The party (Congress) will decide about his candidature," Lalu said.

Lalu also took a dig at Aam Aadmi Party, saying the party idea is a 'bubble' which will burst soon. "They are 'imposters'", lalu said.

"Aam Aadmi Party will be finished and they (AAP leaders) would again start roaming around, with their heads covered with mufflers, fooling innocent people," Lalu said.

Lalu also said that AAP's election promises are a 'pack of lies'.

Lalu was talking to reporters after he was released from Ranchi jail on Monday after the Supreme court granted him bail 76 days after he was convicted in fodder scam by a special CBI court in Ranchi.

Lalu said he would fight communal forces and he has planned to visit the riot-affected Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh to meet the Muslims affected in recent communal riots. "I will hold a massive rally in Patna's Gandhi Maidan soon," he said.

"I will scuttle all efforts of the communal forces led by Narendra Modi to come to power in Delhi," he said.
